Cool-down Protocol Study
Project
Southern Cryonics currently operates a LN₂ cool‑down process starting from dry ice temperatures of about -80 deg C and moving to about -190 deg C over approximately 5 hours. The project objective is to determine if and how this process can be extended to a 40–70‑hour controlled cool‑down, safely, reliably, and at acceptable cost.

Accounting / Book-keeping
Role
Manage the company’s financial records, ensuring they are accurate, current and accessible to the Board in the Xero accounting system.

Standby Support Personnel
Role
Provide standby support for local Southern Cryonics Members or Subscribers who are ill in a hospital or nursing home until the SST team arrives.

PRE-PAYMENT VIA JOINT BANK ACCOUNT. This would be a Westpac account set up beforehand by yourself with Southern Cryonics as the second party. Note that if you use another bank, this will incur additional fees for registration and verification of Southern Cryonics with them. Note also that full payment is required for any work to proceed and sufficient time before your death is needed for our team to reach you, usually a few days. This option may suit clients who (1) are currently healthy and do NOT wish to entrust payment responsibility to a personal representative in the event of future incapacitation, and (2) wish to avoid the possible complications inherent in the processing of a Will,
SUBSCRIPTION FEE. Annual subscription funds contribute towards maintenance of the building, grounds and equipment, as well as the various professional services and government levies needed to keep the facility operational. This ensures it will be ready when you need it at short notice later in your life.
Adult: AU$350 per year
Child age 12–18: AU$175 per year
Child under age 12: free
CRYONIC SUSPENSION FEE. This once-only fee covers your suspension procedure and the ongoing storage requirements for the entire period that you remain in suspension. Note that the fee does not cover SST services prior to your suspension.

AU$170,000 for a non-Subscriber

SST SERVICES ESTIMATE. This estimate covers the specialised Standby, Stabilisation and Transportation (SST) services that are needed prior to being suspended at Southern Cryonics. Your SST costs will vary according to location, and are incurred by CryoPath (or a provider of your choice) at the time of suspension on a pay-as-you-go basis. Shown here are current estimates. Your SST estimate can be included in your life insurance policy or other funding method, with any unused excess with being returned to your estate or nominated representative. SST procedures are explained in The Cryonic Process.
