AN AUSTRALIAN SERVICE

- The local advantage. In Australia, where we are geographically remote from overseas cryonic storage facilities, Southern Cryonics provides a local cryonic service without the increased risks posed by international transportation: the first cryonic facility in the southern hemisphere.
- A chance for life extension. When a person can no longer be supported by current medical technology, and burial or cremation are the only other alternatives, cryonics offers a chance for life extension.
- Using established scientific techniques. Cryonic suspension employs the very cold temperatures of liquid nitrogen (below – 150⁰ C) to preserve a person whose clinical death has been legally declared.
- Over the very long term. Preservation is maintained without any significant biological deterioration over a very long term, allowing ample time for medical science to advance and potentially overcome the current causes of death.
THE CASE FOR CRYONICS

- Affordability. Most cryonic suspensions are funded through life insurance. At age 40, the typical cost is only about $600 per year.
- Rejuvenation. While there are no guarantees in cryonics, advancements in medical science could allow you to wake up in the future with a young, healthy body.
- Optimism. Cryonics gives hope through science and the opportunity to participate in a bright future.
